Special Education and 504 Advocacy and Consultation:

Special education advocacy and consultation is tailored to meet your individual concerns, questions, and needs. Please contact with questions or for more information.

Our primary focus is assisting parents understand them special education and 504 process.

We review educational and/or private evaluations with you, ensuring you understand your options, and helping you navigate the special education or 504 process, including attending meetings alongside you.

As part of consulting and/or advocating with you in the educational service process, questions often naturally arise concerning community and professional services and resources that benefit your child outside the educational ream.

Our support and assistance begins with the point of initiation through the implementation of a developed plan individually designed to support your child’s special needs.

Questions you may ask if yourself are considering hiring an educational advocate/consultant:

Did you know every child is entitled by law to a Free and Appropriate Education (F.A.P.E.) in the Least Restrictive Environment (L.R.E.) with appropriate services in place so the child can be successful in his or her learning environment?

Do you understand your child’s rights regarding education and/or early childhood intervention? Do you understand your rights with regard to your parental involvement with your special needs child’s program?

Do you know how to attend, and feel prepared for, your child’s upcoming 504 or special education meeting?

Do you understand the educational evaluation or private assessment completed about your child?

Do you need help overcoming roadblocks in your efforts to gain appropriate services for your Special Needs child?

Do you need assistance and/or advice in your efforts to be an effective advocate in your role as parent, an equal partner during IEP or 504 meetings?

Are you satisfied with your child’s progress in school and/or at home?

Do you feel your child was assessed adequately and is receiving the services that fit his or her unique needs?

Do you feel comfortable in working and communicating with your child’s educational team (teachers, therapists, administrators)?
